Full review of GM SAI Costa RMR Slide set

Guns Modify - SAI G17 with RMR Cut  Costa Ver Review .

       As a senior airsoft player or a collector, should know the collection well .

This review is very long and hope to help people know this product well . 

      During this product made , my friends give me a lot of help .

       At first , we see the out look of this product installed .

This kit set inculde a aluminum slide , anodized in sliver color . And then coat

with a very famous coating . This coating was a standard in many firearms 

manufacturer . The manufacturer use this coating as below :SIG Sauer, FN, Colt,

Smith and Wesson, Nighthawk Custom, Thompson Center, Nosler, Benchmade and more.

Because of the licence issue ，Guns Modify will post the name of this coating after our

licencing contract effect in 2014. 

There are a lot of colors can choose in this brand of coating. We can not get the 

date from SAI . So we guess base on the cooperation between SAI and Mr Costa .

We choose "Magpul FDE " in H series of this coating .  After the compare and test

with different light . We believe we choose the right color.

We test our coating thickness with a high quality machine . Make sure our coating

was in right thickness under the coating manual .  

 Coating manufacturer standard is 0.5-1 mils .

1mils=0.0254mm   

       But we have to remind you , there is no a coating can not be

scratch off on the earth .

Coating will scratch on real firearms also. 

We anodized the slide to silver before coating . So even the coating have scrath

it will shows the silver just like the resl stuff .

Barrel is another selling point on this product .

 It's made by CNC , steel . 100% fit for Marui inner barrel . Modified to very easy

install .

      We did a lot of research about brand 、outlooks、SAI handle、details，

we provide a different out look in different slide set . 100% re-build the looks

of different slide in real stuff . 

      (Please note , as we know , SAI did not made the barrel . All comes with

or you can see it on internet , was they use the stock barrel or customer's 

match grade barrel to re-build or re-finish to glod ,)

 And you can see , BAR-STO match grade precision barrel was Mr Costa's favor.

So , SAI put this on Mr Costa's G17 RMR .

Guns Modify Glock Slide series will have right out looks for each slide set .

Just like : G17 RMR Costa ver , G17 Costa ver , G17 RMR Standard SAI Ver

G17 Redback one ver . All of these will have the right out looks the same with

the real stuff .

You can see , different gun with different barrel .

       The coating of the outter barrel was another selling point . Guns Modify

use the same process of SAI to handle the outter barrel

       We use the titanium coat on our steel outter barrel . You will find it just

100% the same look with the real stuff .

Why SAI did that ?  Of course there is a reason . Please see the photo below .

You will konw why .

Titanium coat was use on the cutting tools which is need the best performance.

weight is our consideration. We compare with this 4 outter barrel .

GD was made by casting , and very hard to install , it's a fully fail product . I even

can not install this without modifications.  It's still 68.6 g .

 Copper outter barrel . 60.1 g

 Guns Modify steel outter barrel , Costa ver , 48 g .

Even without the lightweight cutting , it is only 56.1 g . (Standard ver barrel will

use on our other ver glock slide . )

After we review of the outter barrel . We focus on the slide .

Compare to the real stuff photo , Costa ver slide ought to have to flat surface here .

 There is a C cut here.

 Extractor, we did a little bit different with other brand . Make it more like real

firearms . 

Tritium sight is a very important product of Guns Modify . 

All our tritium sight products use the same technology with the firearms manufacturer . 

All of them are digital scan with real stuff .

 Another good product from Guns Modify should be this trigger .

CNC aluminum trigger pull range adjustable trigger . 

It comes with 3 color safety . 

This time it comes with 2 C pin , can make this more and more like real stuff .

As I remenber , when Guns modify released their SAI trigger in silver . Some

people said "Hey I never saw a silver trigger in SAI " .

Now , you can see it in Mr Costa's hand .

But , very important !!!! 

Can you find any difference between these photo ????

Upper photo shows : FDE Magwell , Silver Trigger , Black Costa logo .

When you  do a lot of research ,you will find there are at least 2 SAI G17 RMR in

FDE and with Costa logo .

It means what ??  There is different setting can be provide .

This time , Guns Modify made this kit with

 setting below .

Black magwell , Black Trigger, White Costa logo .

Why ? Simple , because we can see Mr Costa in the photo , No more arguements !!!
